There is a reason why I have been absent here for a while. I have been busy launching my new JV project Blogging Web 2.0 with my friend and JV partner Terry Didcott. Blogging Web 2.0 is a social networking oriented blog that allows anybody to register and post. Ideal for those who don’t have a blog just yet it helps to get your feet wet. The site is already chock-a-block with tips and useful information about anything related to Internet marketing, blogging, social networking and tons more. EBay seems as old as the dark ages, right. But it still allows certain members of society to pull some heavy profits all the time. EBay is a great way to get some quick cashflow by monetizing your unwanted goods. But what happens later, when your spare room is free of clutter?

Well stop worrying, there is hope. If you are really determined to make money on EBay, then you can.  It isn’t rocket science really and if you follow a few guidelines, you should be able to make some money of EBay. Ok, I admit it, writing isn’t everybody’s thing. It wasn’t mine either until I accidentally found it. It is a rather long story and if you want to know what’s behind, then please see my blurb on the top navigation.

What is really great about being a writer, whether accidental or intentional is the fact that you can work pretty much anywhere provided you have an Internet connection and some freelancing work.  There is good money in writing, especially if you are good. Goodness comes with practice and lot’s of it I might ad. But it is a great way to say goodbye to the trenches of traditional employment if you so desire and say hello to freedom.

Freelancing your way to freedom isn’t just possible for writers, actually web designers and coders are very well served in that regard. There is an amazing amount of work to be bid on every day. To find this kind of work go to Google and do a search for freelancing jobs in your field. Alternatively you might want to try Craigslist instead.

For me it is all the way to becoming my very own freedom writer. Striving for financial independence by doing what I love best couldn’t be more fun, even if I tried.

Squidoo is a great way to cash in and make money with. I must admit that I had some really high ranking lenses and I neglected them all due to time pressures. I earned affiliate income with them within the first month of building them. The secret to keeping up with Squidoo lenses these days is to update them every day. Or at least every other day. See, for any site to rank high consistently we need to keep updating it. especially if we dabble in the very competitive markets of IM.

The less competitive the niche is, the higher the actual chance of riding high on Google. Google will rank any sites high first for their long tails. After time spent on writing great posts and content, the chances of getting a consistent high ranking will improve. But this happens only if the site is optimized with meta tags and keywords. The site title has to be in order with the keywords we target, and as a real bonus the URL needs to contain the keyword.

Naturally there is much more we can do to feature high in organic Google search rankings. But above mentioned is a start and should get you on your way. One of the biggest mistakes beginners make when they first start out is to not plan ahead. I made the same mistake myself and it probably cost me dearly in lost income. Get a good idea of what niche and keywords you are targeting first. It really pays to do the research beforehand.

Just see it this way, if you want to take a trip, do you plan it beforehand and then pack your bags according to the final destination? Sure you do, except maybe the real adventures. The same applies to your Internet business. Plan your journey by doing the necessary research. You will find that you can save a lot of frustration later on down the road. I know that I could have done too.

Ok, I admit it. I finally gave in to the demand of Ann Sieg’s Ebook. I had to know what it was all about. I saw her name mentioned about a month or so in Google, while doing research. I didn’t think about it again until I kept seeing more and more of her ads appearing. Why was this person suddenly plastered all over the Internet? What made her so special to dare to stand out from the crowd?

So after much toying about even bothering to read her ebook, I finally gave in. You can get Ann’s book Here. It is free, and it only confirmed to me what I had been thinking about the industry for the last year. Those reasons are actually the main reasons I have decided not to bother following with a network marketing business career. It just isn’t me. But if it wasn’t for network marketing in the first place I would have never discovered my real passion. Writing and blogging. So I don’t regret having “failed” in my first network marketing business.

Ann Sieg’s book only confirms to me that I was right, despite the brainwashing of everybody else. Now this has got to mean something hasn’t it?

I’m blogging about this because this book is an ESSENTIAL read for any person who is currently involved in network marketing as it holds the answers on HOW to make money with this industry. I only wish that I had known that back in 2004.

In the hunt to find the greatest money making project we tend to forget that there are many ways we can make money with what we already have. Did you ever think of the option to offer your services to others? We all have areas of expertise whether Internet marketing related or not. For some it is craft, for others related to running a household around kids or even knowing how to care for animals. Why not set up a simple blog in your niche market offering your services for an acceptable fee?

If you are a freelancer like me, then there are already plenty of sites that will cater to our needs. But if your expertise has nothing to do with the Internet, then you might find it hard to have income sources available to you. The option is to set up a blog were you start off by writing some related articles for your blog and then offer your expert help at the same time. You could elect to get paid via PayPal which makes the whole process easier.

Say you know how to care really well for dogs, here is what you can do.

1. Write about 10 article related to dog care
2. Design a simple blog with some pictures of dogs and load your articles onto it
3. Sign up with Adsense, Amazon or other similar advertising platforms and insert some related ads onto your blog (be careful not to overdo this!)
4. Advertise and sell your expertise through ebooks you have written, reports, live help over skype, tutorial videos and more.

This could be a rough frame structure for a simple to implement business in the field of your expertise and should be a great start to help you make money.

Normally I would never post this under the make money section. But this forum is certainly different. It is a forum run by professional Internet marketers that make money every day in the thousands. You will honestly not find a better moderated and educational forum anywhere else on the Internet. At least I haven’t, since I have been online.

The forum differentiate itself by the fact that you have to pay a yearly membership fee. Now before you run a mile, never to return take this into consideration. On this forum you will find enough help and information to make money on the Internet. If you don’t, then you simply are just a tyre kicker. I’m sorry if I burst your bubble with this. I’m in there pretty most every day and you can keep an eye out for me once you join.

So how can you make money with this forum? You probably wonder, whether they give away free marketing packages or even money? As a matter of fact they do. Once you are a member, you can make money via their affiliate program. But that’s not the reason I post this.

Above you see a screen shot of the sign up page. The only way you get to experience one on one forum advice is by signing up. The yearly fee of $48 is peanuts opposed to the amount of money making info you will get once you can enter the holy temple.
